Prayer

I thank you Father that You have called me to be head not the tail. I am above and not beneath. You said I will be able to lend money and not borrow. You said whatever I put my hands to shall prosper. So Father I thank You that I'm blessed and cursed.

AMEN

Juma

Posted by Wagathee

We are judged by the company we keep, right? Juma, not his real name is a bizarre character for lack of a better word. Juma's story is sad and fascinating in equal measures. For the most part I believe Juma is a good kid albeit he got his priorities skewed, why you ask! I've know Juma for about two centuries and counting, growing up Juma's mom like most parents saw a potential CFO who would be handed the burton from his Dad. Juma was an average student unlike his siblings he never got any suspensions or expulsions in his high school years which was a nice stroke to his ego.
Fast forward to two years ago, right after high school he went back to his old buddies, shooting pool, indulging in the Ruaraka waters become his new lifestyle amidst many other escapades. This was a light bulb moment for his parents hence his behind want "sent" to colle. It's believed Juma attended class for about three months nonetheless for a period of about fourteen months he was still collecting tuition, lunch and fare. With nothing to show for two years spent in college this called for a pep talk from his parents and all parties involves came to a coda that he was SOL.
I believe his Mom had a soft spot for Juma since she gave him the benefit of doubt and his behind once more was "sent" to a four year college. Lo and behold Juma became a remnant of the absent students and a classic case of wasted talent.

Moral of the story: You can take a donkey to the river but you can't force the donkey to drink the water.

April Foos Day

Posted by Wagathee

Well this goes to tell us how fast time is moving. I can't believe just the other day was December and now the first quarter of the year is behind us. I prank emailed, is there something like that, anyway back to where I was...I told this foo that wifey was preggar and she got all excited until I broke the news and I was at the receiving end of the obscenities.
The Idea of bouncing out of the plantation half day is making me boil with excitement....Peace out, chucking the deuces :)
